Since The Fly Fishing Academy's establishment in 1998 we have introduced countless beginner fly fishermen and woman to the art of fly fishing. As with most sports there are always challenges when it comes to starting out. Questions like what, how and where are common and in most cases the answers are often difficult to come by. At The Fly Fishing Academy our focus is to simplify the so called "complexities" of fly fishing and provide our students with a solid platform to improve their technique, approach and understanding of the sport which inevitably leads to them catching more fish.
Our many different clinics will teach you how to fly fish as well as give you some of the best fly fishing tips around. We offer special entomology courses and host great fly tying evenings every month where you can get all the best tips on fishing techniques, fishing spots, knots and the different types of lures.
